Free tools
Xenith has a set of free tools at xenith.life/tools. They need no account and no email, and they work before you have signed up for anything.
What they have in common
- Everything stays on your device. What you type is saved in your browser so you can come back to it, and it is never uploaded. Clearing your browser's site data, or pressing Clear all in a tool, removes it.
- You take the result with you. Each tool can copy its result as text and print it.
Some also download a file: an image, a Markdown file or a calendar (
.ics) file. - Analytics are counts only. If you accept cookies, Xenith records which tool was used and how it was exported, plus a count such as how many tasks. It never records what you wrote, what you rated or how your energy felt. See Privacy and data.
The tools
Eisenhower Matrix Maker
Sort tasks by urgent and important. Add up to 50 tasks, then drag each into one of four boxes (Do first, Schedule, Delegate, Let go), use the Move to menu on a task, or press Help me sort to answer two questions about each one. Copy the result as text, print it or download it as an image.
Time Blocking Planner
Turn a task list into a schedule for the day. Set when your day starts and ends, add up to 30 tasks with a length from 15 minutes to 8 hours, and place each one by picking a start time, by picking a time on the timeline, or with Fill my day, which places tasks in order in the earliest free gaps. Select a block to change its start or length; blocks that overlap are outlined. Download the day as a calendar file for a date you choose, copy it as text or print it.
Morning Routine Builder
Add steps with a length in minutes, or start from a template, and see the clock time of every step. Work forward from when you wake up, or back from when you need to leave to find the latest time you can start. Add the routine to your calendar as one event or one event per step, every day, on weekdays only or just once. The times stay the same wherever you open the calendar.
Weekly Review Generator
Four steps: look back (what went well, what did not get done and why, what drained you, what gave you energy), rate each of the eight areas of life from 1 to 5 if you want to, look ahead (up to three priorities, one thing to protect, one thing to let go of or delay), then read the finished review. When you rate at least two areas it names the highest and lowest from your own numbers. Copy it, download it as a Markdown file or print it.
Energy Audit
Rate your energy from 1 to 5 for each hour of a day, from 6 AM to 10 PM, and tag an hour with what you were doing if you like. Log other days too. Once you have at least 8 entries from at least 3 different days, the audit shows your average by hour, your highest and lowest two-hour windows, and how energy compared across activities that have enough entries. Until then it tells you how much more it needs. See an example previews made-up data without saving it.
Work-Life Balance Quiz
Sixteen short statements, two for each of the eight life dimensions, answered from 1 (not true) to 5 (very true). Each area gets a score out of 10, and the result names your highest and lowest areas and shows a chart. It is a self-check, not a diagnosis, and it is not compared with anyone else. You can open the result in the Wheel of Life to adjust any score.
Wheel of Life and Pomodoro Timer
The Wheel of Life lets you rate the eight areas of life from 1 to 10, see them as a wheel, share a link and download an image. The Pomodoro Timer runs a 25-minute focus and 5-minute break cycle with ambient sound, the same idea as Focus in the app.
Bringing a result into Xenith
If you use the Eisenhower Matrix Maker, the Time Blocking Planner or the Weekly Review Generator and then sign up, onboarding can offer your first task, first block or first priority as your first intention. If you finish the Work-Life Balance Quiz, it can offer your scores as your starting ratings for the eight life dimensions.
- It is an offer, not a transfer. You see a small note with a Use this button (Use these scores for quiz ratings). Nothing is filled in or saved until you press it, and you can ignore it.
- It stays on your device. The result waits in your browser for up to 14 days, is cleared when you finish onboarding, and is never sent to analytics.
- Only the latest tool counts. Starting over in a tool, or clearing its data, removes its offer.
Using them with Xenith
The tools are standalone, and Xenith has a matching place for each result: your daily intentions for a sorted task list, Routines for a morning routine, the Reflection page for a review, the daily check-in for energy, and Life Dimensions for your balance over time.
