Worlds
Your World is a planet that starts as bare rock, like the moon, and changes as you use Xenith. Its eight regions are your eight Life Dimensions, so the part of the planet that changes most is the part of your life you have been tending.
It is a quiet picture of what you have done, not a score to defend. Open it from Worlds in the sidebar. The page fills the whole screen, with the planet in the middle and a panel for its look on the right.
It only grows
- A World never shrinks, fades or resets. If you delete old entries, your World keeps what it has.
- There is no daily target, no streak and no "you haven't" message. Xenith never sends you a notification about your World, and it never mentions a gap.
- Nothing is compared with other people. There are no shared scores.
- Everything about it is free. Customizing is cosmetic, and there is nothing to buy or unlock.
What makes it grow
Growth is counted on Xenith's servers from your own entries, and your history from the day you joined counts. Each local day (in your timezone) adds at most a fixed amount, so a day of rapid ticking adds no more than a full day of doing.
| Activity | Adds | Counted per day |
|---|---|---|
| A finished intention | 3 | up to 5 |
| Focus time | 1 for every full 5 minutes | up to 60 minutes |
| A routine step | 1 | up to 5 |
| A reflection | 2 | 1 |
| A gratitude entry | 1 | 1 |
A finished intention or Focus session adds to the region of its Life Dimension. Routines, reflections and gratitude entries belong to no single dimension, so they are shared evenly across all eight regions. After a Focus session, a line under the end of the session says what it added, when it added something.
The stages
Your World moves through seven stages: Barren, Thin air, Oceans, First life, Weather, Cities and Flourishing. Your first finished intention, or a ten minute Focus session, is enough to reach the second. Each region also has its own look, from bare rock to lush, and the Worlds page lists all eight regions with how far each has come (bare, lichen, green, lush or thriving) and the growth behind it.
The page describes the planet in words as well, so nothing depends on seeing colours.
Look around
Your World is a small 3D planet with real mountains, snowy peaks, shorelines, forests, little towns that light up on the night side, clouds and animals.
- Drag to turn it, scroll or pinch to zoom, all the way down to ground
level. The plus and minus buttons and the keyboard (
+,-, arrow keys,0to go back out) do the same. - Point at a part of the planet and a small card names its region and the numbers behind it, for example "lush · 22 from Mind activity".
- Click or tap a region to fly to it. It opens in the Regions tab of the panel, and Back to the whole planet takes you out again. Hovering a region in that list lights it up on the planet.
- Plants, towns and animals appear as a region grows and never go away. The same World always has the same trees and animals, and nothing appears at random.
Customize it
The panel on the right has four tabs. On a phone it is a sheet that opens from the Customize button.
- Look: give it a name (up to 30 characters), pick what it becomes (Terra, Ocean, Desert, Ice or Ember), Roll a new planet for a different landscape, change the colour of the oceans, greenery and atmosphere, choose how dramatic the mountains are, and turn the animals on or off.
- Sky: the stars, a nebula, rings, up to three moons, the lights on the night side, and whether it turns slowly or holds still. If your device asks for reduced motion, it holds still on its own.
- Regions: tint the regions with the Life Dimension colours, and see each region in words with the growth behind it.
- About: how your World grows.
Changes are previewed live and only saved when you press Save changes. Discard changes puts your saved look back. If your device can't draw the planet, a simple picture of it is shown instead.
Turning Worlds off
Turn Show Worlds off in Settings. The page, the dashboard card and the menu entry all disappear, and your World is kept as it is, so turning it back on later brings it back. You can also turn it off during onboarding.
If you finished onboarding without a World, the dashboard offers to create one once, and does not ask again.
Your data
A World stores its name, its look and a growth score. The name is never sent to analytics. It is part of your data export and is deleted with your account. See Privacy & Data.
